ARREST MADE in Horrific Bombing Of Pro Life Group That….

A Wisconsin man has been apprehended for allegedly firebombing the office of Wisconsin Family Action, a pro-life organization, following the overturning of Roe v. Wade in May. The 29-year-old suspect was arrested in Boston, Massachusetts, and has been identified as a biochemist and former research scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently works at the Promega Corporation in Madison, Wisconsin, and has previously received an award for outstanding achievement while studying at the New Mexico State University College of Arts and Sciences.

The alleged arsonist has also been accused of vandalizing the office with the slogan “If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either,” a statement linked to Jane’s Revenge, a far-left extremist group known for encouraging terrorism.

According to a press release from the Department of Justice, on Mother’s Day, law enforcement responded to an active fire at an office building in Madison, Wisconsin. They discovered mason jars with accelerant and evidence of an attempted arson attack. Outside the building, the spray-painted messages mentioned earlier were found.

In March 2023, law enforcement identified the suspect and collected DNA samples from leftover food he had discarded. A forensic biologist matched these samples with the DNA evidence recovered from the scene of the attack.

The suspect now faces charges of attempting to cause damage by means of fire or an explosive. U.S. Attorney Timothy M. O’Shea for the Western District of Wisconsin commended the teamwork of local and federal law enforcement officers in advancing the investigation.

Jane’s Revenge, in a manifesto posted on June 15, 2022, vowed to escalate their attacks following the Supreme Court’s decision. They claimed responsibility for arson and vandalism at pregnancy centers in multiple locations across the country.

The group declared, “We promised to take increasingly drastic measures against oppressive infrastructures. Rest assured that we will, and those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.” They further warned that any anti-choice group that continues to operate would be targeted.

Catholic Vote has been monitoring the attacks on churches and pregnancy centers since the draft opinion leaked in early May. As of March 28, 2023, the organization has recorded 83 attacks.

The FBI announced on June 17 that it is investigating these attacks as “potential acts of domestic violent extremism.” Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division said that the suspect allegedly used an incendiary device in violation of federal law to terrorize and intimidate a private organization.

The FBI is urging anyone with information about the attacks to contact them via their hotline 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324), local office, or online tip submission at tips.fbi.gov. Those reporting information can remain anonymous.
