Illinois didn’t pay out money owed to lottery winners and they are outraged!

After Illinois refused to pay money owed to lottery winners, they are now seeking legal advice so they can fight back for what is rightfully theirs . Attorney Tom Zimmerman is representing some of the winners. The state has failed to pay back a total of $288 million dollars.

From Hillary 4 Prisoner:

What happened? Illinois blamed their failure on their ‘budget crisis’. And if anyone won more than $600 from a lottery ticket, the state refused point-blank to pay it. Nevertheless, television ads continue to run and promote the lottery to millions of residents. Is this fair? No! Learn more below!

One female lottery winner, Susan Rick, opened up about how the State screwed her out of thousands during an interview with Inside Edition.

Rick said: “We won. We finally can have a comfortable life. Suddenly you’re gonna pull the rug out from under us. We had a ticket for $250,000.”

Wow, this is ridiculous! How about I don’t pay my state taxes? Let’s see, I’ll get fined for one and then they’ll want to put liens on my belongings! How is the state getting away with this??

Correct me if I’m wrong.. but isn’t the lottery prize comprised of the money people pay in buying tickets etc? If so, shouldn’t that money ONLY be used for that purpose? If it’s gone hasn’t someone misappropriated funds? Wouldn’t that be a crime?

Maybe that’s the reason I don’t pay into the lottery – especially Illinois. Their pension has been so broke for so many years but they just keep on increasing the pension payment not worrying about where the money is going to come from. It has to come from someplace.

Just how corrupt will Americans allow their “public” servants to become?
