Once a glamorous model and wife to a famous actor, she now roams the streets of Los Angeles, her life in shambles due to addiction and personal tragedy.
Just a few short years ago, Loni Willison was a household name. This 37-year-old former model was married to Bay Watch star Jeremy Jackson from 2012 to 2014. Sadly, her life took a drastic turn for the worse following their divorce. In October, Loni was found living on the streets of Los Angeles, a situation she claims has been her reality since 2016.
Loni’s troubles began when she started experimenting with drugs. Upon discovering crystal meth, she became addicted, and her life rapidly unraveled. Loni described the experience, saying that “everything crumbled” as a result of the drugs. To make matters worse, she lost two jobs at the most inopportune time – when her mental health was already deteriorating.
In a shocking turn of events, Loni was photographed begging for change on the streets of LA. She was pushing a carriage filled with her tattered belongings, dressed in a mismatched ensemble and a red baseball cap. A cigarette dangled from her lips, and her short hair was accessorized with leather fingerless gloves.
After she was discovered on the streets in October, Loni spoke with The Sun, revealing, “I haven’t spoken to Jeremy. I don’t want to speak to my friends. I’m doing just fine. I don’t want anyone to help me.” At the time, she was in Venice, California, rummaging through garbage cans behind multi-million-dollar homes.
Loni insisted that she was capable of surviving on her own. “I’ve got everything I need right here. Nobody really cares about me, and I don’t want to see them. They don’t want to see me. I haven’t got a cell phone. I’ve got food, and I’ve got a place to sleep. I get money here and there, and there’s food in the bins and near the stores. There’s lots here.”
Before her life took such a tragic turn, Loni graced the cover of Australian Glam Fit magazine. But her struggles with drug addiction and mental health have made it nearly impossible for her to get back on her feet.
Following her divorce from Jeremy Jackson in 2014, Loni’s life spiraled out of control. Unable to keep a job and make rent payments, she was evicted from her apartment and found herself living on the streets.
Reflecting on this period, she remarked, “I lost two jobs, and everything crumbled. It’s been two years. I’ve been on the streets since. I’d split from Jeremy at that time. I have not had any contact with him. All the st that’s happened to me has been so f***g crazy.”
Larry Marinelli, a drug rehab expert, reached out to Loni and offered to help her regain control of her life for free. As the owner of True Intentions sober living home and co-founder of True Hope Calling, Marinelli is experienced in helping families cope with substance abuse. Sadly, Loni declined his offer, and within twenty-four hours, she was back on the streets.
