A Robber Tried Busting Into Their Home, Then They Heard The Most Chilling Noise…

A wig-wearing man and woman followed a couple as they walked home, all the way to their front door, the man pointing a gun at the homeowners before they slammed the door.

The terrifying moment was all captured by a Ring doorbell camera.

The incident unfolded July 15 in Wheat Ridge in Denver when a couple began being trailed by a male and female suspect on their walk home, according to the Wheat Ridge Police Department.  The “terrified” couple arrived home when the male suspect pointed a gun “in their faces.”

Good thing, the couple was able to slam the door shut before two assailants could harm them.

“If the couple hadn’t immediately gone inside and slammed the door, who knows what may have happened,” the police department said in a post on Facebook.

Five minutes after the incident, the two suspects robbed another man at gunpoint as he was loading his car, police said.

On Wednesday, five days later the attempted robbery, Authorities announced that the male suspect was arrested and identified and charges are pending. Authorities are working to identify and locate the female accomplice, police said.

More details of this incident from the ‘Western Journal’ report:

Joanna Small, public information officer of Wheat Ridge Police Department, told The Western Journal that her department is charging Mbui with two counts of attempted robbery and two counts of felony menacing.

Denver will also charge Mbui with separate charges, though The Western Journal is still awaiting a response from Denver police as to what those charges will be.

The female accomplice is still at large, but police continue to search for her.

Violent crimes seem increasingly common these days, and sometimes even without motive. Philadelphia, a gun-restricted blue state, broke a 30-year-old homicide record last year.
