A Young Teacher Has Revealed The Outfits That Got Her In Trouble At School And..

A student teacher has been left extremely embarrassed and stressed after being “dress-coded” at the school she works at.

Taking to TikTok, Alison Mutarelli showed the white dress that was deemed inappropriate to wear.

“I was student teaching, and both my partner and I were wearing dresses and the principal told us to dress for the jobs that we want,” she explained.

The 21-year-old teacher has been left confused and admits that she doesn’t know what she should wear to work anymore after the white, above-the-knee dress didn’t meet the dress code.

The student teacher’s clip has since gone viral because so many people are shocked that the school principal called her outfit “too sexy” for the schoolhouse.

Alison posted a video to the platform where she tried on several other outfits she was considering wearing.

With one floral dress she tried on, Alison didn’t know whether it would be accepted because it might be considered tight fitting. Despite thinking it was “super cute,” she concluded with: “I don’t think I can wear it”.

Alison then put on a white and green gingham dress, saying she has worn it “multiple times”, but now she is “so scared” to wear it.

The young woman then tried on a couple of tops she has worn “multiple times,” including a white shirt with a sleeveless knitted top over, and said:

“So I got this outfit thinking it was okay, but now I’m nervous because technically it’s cropped but it’s also covered. I don’t know.”

She then explained:

“The school I student teach for has had a pretty chill dress code. I have seen other teachers wearing dresses just like I’ve been wearing and they are allowed to wear jeans.

“I thought we had a pretty chill dress code but I guess not, and I don’t know what to do. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am so stressed.”

Thousands of people shared their thoughts with Alison, with many saying the school was to blame, and that her outfits were completely fine.

One person said: “Every single outfit you showed was fine.”

A second person commented: “Nothing wrong with any of those!”

A third added: “You need to get the district employee handbook! That way, you know exactly what your dress code is and is not.”

Others could see where the potential problem was. One person said: “I’m a teacher. The length is fine, it’s more likely the neckline and low cut/open back. I typically do t-shirt dresses.”

Another added: “Work clothes can’t be your regular clothes. Separate wardrobe. Dresses and skirts to the knew, and crew neck tops. Hang in there!”
