The shooting was captured on video by a witness, which shows the victim sitting on the curb with the suspect standing behind him, seemingly struggling to load his firearm. After almost 30 seconds, the suspect points the gun at point-blank range at the victim’s head, killing him.
Authorities say that witnesses saw the victim and suspect arguing near a Shell gas station before the victim ran away. However, the suspect chased the victim down and shot him, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
