Dog Obsessed With His Stuffed Santa Toy Is Taken To See The Real One, And His Reaction Is Priceless!

Kya the Shiba pooch is obsessed with her toy Santa no matter what the season is, so her owners took her to see a ‘real’ Father Christmas in the mall. Note: doggie’s reaction is priceless…

“She’s always carrying her Santa toy around with her and kept it through the whole year… Whenever we are just sitting on the couch watching TV she also brings it and just kinda sits with it and licks it,” one of the sibling owners, John and Angelina, told Bored Panda. So when they heard about Santa taking pictures with pets, they knew they HAD to take Kya to see him. “A lot of people were taking pictures with their dogs,” Angelina said. “But we were like, ‘Nah, it’s just going to be the dog.’”

Their other dog, Lucy, freaked out when she saw Santa, but Kya who is usually the “super crazy and hyper” one suddenly became very calm and composed. “She just sat there and looked at him,” Angelina said. “[Kya] usually misbehaves when we take her to Petsmart, but she was behaving for Santa.”

“Kya jumped right up on the chair next to Santa… it looked like she was smiling!”. The siblings spent $30 to get the perfect picture, but they don’t regret it a bit. They posted a photo of their dog’s epic ‘OMG’ reaction, and it went viral. In the pic, Kya seems to be having a blast and smiling with pure joy. “She was definitely the most excited dog there.”
