Kirsters Baish| The mainstream liberal media has done their best to remain sadly uneducated when it comes to just how dangerous our Southern border really is. They seem to want to open the border completely, not taking into account just how dangerous that truly would be. It is also a possibility that they do understand how dangerous our border with Mexico really is, but they are doing what they can in order to share a different story with the American people.

The reasoning is blatantly obvious. The Left doesn’t want Americans to know about the massive drug problem, floods of illegal immigrants, and the rapid increase in violence leaking into the United States through that very border. If the mainstream media actually reported on all of these issues, more Americans would be likely to support President Trump and his idea of building a wall between the United States and Mexico.

The Left seriously doesn’t want this, so they are doing everything they can in order to hide the truth and keep Americans following their party. The problem for the mainstream media is that Americans are becoming more and more educated about the truth of what goes on at the Mexican border. The truth about who is coming into our country and how they are doing it is horrifying.

United States border patrol agents have been working around the clock in dangerous conditions in order to protect us all.

The Associated Press joined the Border Tunnel Entry Team, as it is formally known, inside an incomplete tunnel that was discovered in San Diego in 2009 — 70 feet deep, 3 feet wide, 2,700 feet long and equipped with a rail system, lighting and ventilation…

Authorities discovered 224 border tunnels originating in Mexico from 1990 to March 2016, including 185 that entered the United States, according to the latest U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration annual survey.

Many are shallow holes, but some are elaborately constructed with hydraulic lifts, water pumps and rail cars…

It was reported that the United States Department of Homeland Security explained that they spent $8.7 million to fill in tunnels in the years between 2007 and 2015. Last week, a $153,000 contract was awarded to inject concrete into the part of the completed tunnel on the United States side. The tunnel is lined with cobblestone. It was discovered in October. This tunnel ended in a San Diego warehouse, which is just 1,200 feet north of the border.

It’s scary how good Mexican drug cartels are at smuggling operations, and they have built these tunnels so carefully. They even have lighting as well as railcars in order to ship both people and drugs into America.

United States border patrol agents are extremely brave for doing the kind of work they are doing. They have to find these tunnels, and in doing so they are in danger of suffocating or being crushed if said tunnels were to collapse on them.

While the Left continues to complain about a wall, which they claim won’t stop illegal immigration, we will be working on solutions to try to stop it all together. More needs to be done in order to protect the United States border.
