You Think America Is Divided Now? These Colorized Civil War Photos Will Put That In Perspective

Share X Facebook Email

These photos of the Civil War will put things into perspective for anyone who says that America is divided right now.

There certainly is a division in America. We see it between black American’s and police, liberals and democrats, between different races and more… But to say that the division is at it’s worst is not a true statement. Maybe it seems that way to millennials but when you look back into history you’ll see this isn’t close to true.

From IJR:

The American Civil War lasted for four years and pitted brother against brother in a bloody division which cost 620,000 American lives and tested the very fabric of our young country. Abraham Lincoln famously stated in The Gettysburg Address:

“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.”

In a series called “Colorized History” an artist named, Mads Madsen took heartbreaking photos of the Civil War and added color to them. The color adds life to the photos and gives a more vivid picture of what happened back then.

The funny thing is that the snowflakes spent years trying to take our guns while we hunted target shot and competed in shooting events. Now they are arming and they think they would have a chance against us in a armed conflict? It would be a massacre.
Just wait and see. This will happen again soon enough. At the end of the day, more people crave chaos rather than creation. Liberals won’t stop their childish behavior until our country is burned to the ground. What do you think? Please share below…
