Democrat Judge Giving Safe Harbor To Disney Groomers!

It seems the Democrats are in favor of Disney groomers. In fact, a Democrat Texas judge invited them to relocate to the Lone Star State following a heated flap with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The offer comes after DeSantis signed a bill abolishing the self-governing Reedy Creek Improvement District revoking Disney’s special tax status.

In a letter to Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Judge KP George said the corporation would be warmly accepted in Fort Bend County, southwest of Houston.

He described Fort Bend as a ‘welcoming and diverse place to do business’ in contrast to the ‘authoritarian, anti-business and culture war attacks’ from DeSantis.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported about the signing law on Friday:

Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill into law on Friday that terminates all special districts that were enacted in Florida prior to 1968, including Disney’s Reedy Creek Improvement District. The new law will remove Disney’s tax privilege and special governing status.

Amid its ongoing feud, Democrat Judge KP George sent a letter to Disney CEO Bob Chapek saying the corporation would be warmly accepted in Fort Bend County, southwest of Houston.

He described Fort Bend as a ‘welcoming and diverse place to do business.’

George wrote:

“Our residents and families compose the most diverse county in the United States, deliver extremely high graduation rates, and are one of the top capita purchasers in Texas, have lots of wide open and affordable land, while also being strategically located for the most efficient distribution of goods domestically and internationally including the best access to both inland and water ports in Texas.”

George added:

“While you, your company, employees and diverse fans face authoritarian, anti-business and culture war attacks from extremists in Florida, we in Fort Bend are more ready to welcome the Disney family with thousands of good-paying jobs and billions of dollars of investments.”

George concluded:

“I invite you to visit Fort Bend County and see for yourself why our community is the best place for a new Walt Disney World Resort.”

Of course, the liberal judge has no power to grant the company such benefits in Texas.

Last week, Colorado’s Democratic governor also tried to lure ‘the Mouse’ into their state.
