Frank Fritz, a former American Pickers star, was admitted to the hospital after having a stroke. On Thursday, July 21, his co-host Mike Wolfe posted the breaking news via Instagram.

Wolfe shared the news about Fritz’s condition and asked for fans to “keep him in your hearts and thoughts.” However, he did not release any additional details about the severity of the stroke.

“I have been very private in the past year in regards to Franks life and the journey he’s been on. There has been lots of opinions in regards to mine and Frank’s friendship and the show but now is not the time to set the record straight. Now is the time to pray for my friend, “ Wolfe wrote on social media.

“Frank has suffered a stroke and is in the hospital. Please keep him in your hearts and thoughts.” He said, “Frank I pray more than anything that you make it through this okay. I love you buddy.”

‘American Pickers’ has been on since 2010, Fritz, 56, was for years the co-host of the popular History Channel show. But in March 2020, He left the production.

Fritz revealed an ongoing dispute with Wolfe in a 2021 interview with The Sun, claiming the two hadn’t communicated in two years. They probably stopped talking when Fritz wrapped up shooting the 20th season of the show.

Between episodes 7 and 8 of that season, he departed the program, but his departure was never explicitly mentioned on camera.

In a separate interview, Fritz explained to The Sun that the reason for his departure was back surgery, followed by the challenges of filming during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I didn’t leave the show. I finished shooting and then I had a little back surgery and the pandemic came,” he said.

The 23rd season of the History Channel program featuring Wolfe is now airing.
