The results seem shocking for Nancy Pelosi’s January 6th probe, because It does not play out according to her game.
Recent polling shows that Americans were turned off by that “carrying” theatrical showing on day one of the Jan 6th “probe,” and support for Pelosi’s probe dropped.
Well, here it is… The people have spoken…
According to a new Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey, the majority of voters say they believe the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol is biased.
The awkward river of tears from politicians and Capitol police didn’t guarantee the sympathy of the American people.
The pool said that Fifty-eight percent of voters believed the committee set up by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was biased, while 42 percent said they thought it was fair.
New York Post also reported that an emotional hearing this week in which police officers attacked in the Capitol riot testified before a House select committee investigating the events of Jan. 6 turned more Americans against the need for the probe, according to a Morning Consult poll.
Yet another blow for Pelosi.
I understand that every “riot situation” is scary and potentially very dangerous…I watched Democrats riot for 3 months during the “Summer of Love.”
I saw people beaten, killed, businesses and houses burned to the ground, cops attacked, protesters tear-gassed, and roving BLM mobs intimidating innocent people night after night after night after night.’
The Capitol “right” lasted approximately 3 hours, and believe it or not, of the 9 thousand or so people who were actually at the Capitol, it was relatively a “peaceful event.”
I never saw any “Summer of Love” officers cry, nor did I see any politicians cry for the businesses and lives that were lost. What I did see was Democrats bailing bad guys out of jail, and ignoring the ongoing violence.
And now, Dems’ chickens are coming home to roost.
And since that time, it’s all still going downhill for Nancy…
Codirector of the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey Mark Penn told the Hill that “Americans want an examination of the riots over the summer and the origins of the virus over investigating Jan. 6th.”
“The voters reject the Pelosi move to toss Republicans off of the committee and see it now as just a partisan exercise,” he said.
This sham reminds me a lot of the first impeachment circus the Dems unleashed on President Trump – although, that got a heck of a lot more attention than this is carnival.
And just like that first political show, this one is also going on during a so-called “dangerous” time with the virus – the “Delta variant.”
It’s amazing how Dems are always side-tracked during these “dangerous” pandemic times, isn’t it?
