Michigan Democrat and Socialist Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib Socialist took to the House floor recently to complain about her personal student debt and advocated American taxpayers should bail out students like her.
But many criticized the slamming comments made by Rep. Tlaib arguing her complaints about her student loan debt proves federal bailouts would benefit the rich.
She said:
“I worked full time, Monday through Friday, ad took weekend classes to get my law degree. And still, close to $200,000 in debt. And I still owe over $70,000 and most of it was interest.”

Then she continues complaining, saying:
“It was our own government making profit off of me.”
“We have to stop treating as if folks that are paying for education as if they bought some [expensive] car.”
Notably, Tlaib makes a whopping $174,000 a year as a member of Congress.
