Revived following a 27-minute brush with death, a woman shares her profound message from the afterlife, inspiring hope and reinforcing faith in the unseen.
In 2018, an Arizona woman named Tina Hines experienced a life-altering event that she felt compelled to share with the world. After suffering a severe heart attack, Tina was pronounced dead for 27 minutes before she was miraculously revived. As soon as she regained consciousness, she urgently scribbled the words “It’s real” on a notepad, confirming her belief in an afterlife.
Upon her return from the brink of death, Tina felt an overwhelming need to share her profound message with others before it slipped away from her memory. Having been granted a rare glimpse into the world beyond our mortal existence, she was eager to share her insights with those around her.
Although this life-changing event occurred several years ago, Tina’s niece, Madie Johnson, recently commemorated her aunt’s remarkable experience by getting a tattoo inspired by the handwritten message. Madie felt deeply moved by her aunt’s testimony, which only reinforced her faith in the unseen.
In an Instagram post, Madie shared her aunt’s incredible story:
“Over a year ago, my Aunt Tina, one of the most amazing, discerning, and healthy people I know, had an unexpected cardiac arrest. My Uncle Brian and first responders revived her four times before she arrived at the hospital. After being put on a defibrillator and miraculously waking up, she was unable to speak due to intubation. She asked for a pen and wrote ‘it’s real’ in my cousin’s journal. When asked what was real, she pointed up to heaven with tears in her eyes.”
Madie continued:
“Her story is too real not to share, and it has given me stronger confidence in a faith that often goes unseen. It has provided a tangible sense of eternal hope that isn’t too far away. I love you, Tina Hines. Your bold love for Jesus and others has transformed the way I aspire to live and love.”
Tina’s testimony has sparked a conversation about near-death experiences and the possibility of an afterlife. A 2013 study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences discovered heightened brain activity in lab rats at the time of their deaths, which some researchers believe could explain the phenomena experienced by near-death survivors.
Dr. Jimo Borjigin, who led the study, stated, “A lot of people thought that the brain, after clinical death, was inactive or hypoactive, with less activity than the waking state, and we show that is definitely not the case. If anything, it is much more active during the dying process than even the waking state.”
Despite the scientific debate surrounding the topic, Tina Hines remains steadfast in her conviction that she encountered Jesus during her brief journey into the afterlife. Her story serves as a powerful reminder of the mysteries that lie beyond our understanding, and the hope and faith that can be found in the face of the unknown.
