What Scott said

In remarks quoted by Fox News, Scott opened, “It’s a tremendous honor to be here at Nasdaq as we celebrate a remarkable milestone, 30 years of Fox News.” She credited the network’s launch to “Fox Corporation Chairman Emeritus Rupert Murdoch,” saying he aimed “to give audiences another voice in the national conversation and to build a news organization that provided balance to all Americans.”

Scott added, “Thirty years later, his vision has grown from one linear network to a multi-platform powerhouse of digital, streaming, audio, books and beyond, made possible by the leadership of Fox Corp Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer Lachlan Murdoch.” Fox News also reported that Scott said the company’s platforms connect with audiences and reach over 200 million people monthly.
