Ever since Joe Biden and his liberal crew came into power, Americans have been caught in the crossfire of a government that’s hostile to free speech. Social media accounts have been taken down or restricted for voicing opinions that don’t align with the radical left’s narrative. Even comedians who poke fun at high-ranking Democrats like Hillary Clinton are being targeted by the Biden administration.
A man is facing a decade in prison for making lighthearted jokes about Hillary Clinton’s blunders. “She provides fodder for anyone to poke fun at her,” but when someone does, the Biden administration “goes for blood.” This attack on democracy and free expression is being backed up by a federal law enforcement system that seems to be weaponized against anyone who has different beliefs from those in power. Even those who use comedy or humor to express their views aren’t safe from this authoritarian regime.
This has resulted in a political environment where any kind of dissent is punished, and citizens are afraid to speak up without fear of retribution from their own government. It’s a far cry from the progressive ideology that should be promoting free speech and expression. Even Hillary Clinton has admitted how damaging this type of censorship can be, yet Joe Biden and his cohorts continue to enforce these oppressive rules without consequence.
Douglass Mackey, also known as “Ricky Vaughn,” is a 33-year-old man who has a popular Twitter account that focuses on political humor. Mackey’s account is named after a character from the movie Major League, and most of his content centers around easy targets for humor, including Hillary Clinton. Despite not making any threats or posting any hateful tweets, he is being targeted as a criminal and could face up to 10 years in prison for posting a few memes.
This situation is alarming because if someone like Hillary Clinton can go after Mackey, then who’s next? Americans need to wake up and stop the left’s abusive use of federal law enforcement before they come after any and all of us for anything they don’t like. If we don’t stop them, we risk descending into a tyrannical, authoritarian government that we may not be able to recover from. It’s a sobering reminder of the dangers of unchecked power and the need to stand up for free speech and expression before it’s too late.
