Meghan Markle‘s recent interaction with royal aides outside Windsor Castle has sparked backlash on social media.

Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially separated from the royal family, Markle has not left a stone unturned to confess and prove the allegedly horrible treatment meted out to her based on racial lines. It is universal news that the relations between the Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the British royal family are as tense as it gets.

The couple had migrated to the USA in 2021 and gave a bombshell interview to Oprah Winfrey that splashed a whole lot of dirt on the monarch’s family in the UK. The bad blood is evident in the fact that Prince Charles, now King Charles III, did not want Markle at his dying mother’s bedside, and asked Harry to visit alone. But Meghan Markle herself has been subjected to heavy criticism for a lot of things – victimizing herself in every aspect possible is a prominent one among other reasons.

And now, Twitter has found a new Markle footage that’s going viral for all the wrong reasons.

A video of a member of the public appearing to ignore Meghan Markle during the royal’s walkabout at Windsor Castle, England, on Saturday has gone viral on TikTok as well as on Twitter, gaining more than 11 million views in 24 hours on TikTok alone.

Markle, alongside her husband Prince Harry and Prince William and Kate Middleton, was greeting well-wishers mourning the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, when two royal aides tried to take flowers off the former actress’ hands.

“I told them I’d place them over there so it’s okay,” Markle seems to tell the first royal aide. “Thank you, I appreciate it though.”

In the second video clip, Daily Wire describes that Markle seems to again not want to let go of the flowers while interacting with another royal aide, pointing at the last person she had words with. The second aide eventually gathers the flowers from the mother of two, though.

According to Page Six,  people’s reactions online were split,  some claimed Markle was being difficult by flouting protocol and potentially doing so for a photo-op, while others contended the “Suits” actress is too highly scrutinized.

“She wanted it for the optics but it got squashed by people who know exactly what she’s trying to achieve,” one person wrote. “I’m thinking so she gets the money shot when she places the flowers down with the other floral tributes.”

“She probably wanted to be captured and filmed when she walks alone put flowers over there and put an action,” another said. “Actually, if you think about it, she really is a narcissist, always trying to make everything about her in every occasion! Glad she was stopped!”

“Can’t believe the Meghan bashing has started already, it’s the first time she’s experienced this and was doing her best she probably promised to lay the flowers down herself and that’s what she was going to do till told by Harry it’s alright to pass them over,” one tweet argued.

Another person suggested Markle simply didn’t understand the protocol. “She probably didn’t understand that the flowers are taken off them for safety purposes,” the tweet read. “After all there could be a small explosive device, nerve gas, a poisonous insect, any number of things, concealed in them.”
