President Donald Trump is the victim of a blatant political hit job. The out of control favoritism at the Department of Injustice can no longer be ignored because it’s crippling the administration from doing its job. Giving “serial liar and leaker” Andrew McCabe a free pass for his lies, which were part of a bigger plot to overthrow the oval office, while recommending nine years on solid ice for Roger Stone, who merely lied to the FBI to keep from going to jail, proves the “two-tier criminal justice system.” How is this fair?

Favoritism at the Department of Injustice

The Federal Bureau of Instigation tried to overthrow the President and got caught. There still hasn’t been any “justice” for the crimes, Kellyanne Conway declared Sunday on Fox news. President Trump is the “victim of politicized justice system.” Not only that, the “two-tier criminal justice system” is “actively undermining the president and his associates.”

If you’re President Trump,” Conway began, “or people associated with him, there’s prosecutions that have gone one way.” Really harsh penalties. Like with Roger Stone. Prosecutors recommended seven to nine years of federal prison for lying to the FBI.

Contrast that with the way prosecutions against Trump’s enemies are handled. Hillary Clinton got a get out of jail free card, James Comey skated away, now it’s Andrew McCabe’s turn for a free pass. Attorney General William Barr declined to press any charges at all against Comey’s former Deputy Director. “The president thinks that Andy McCabe should have been punished because he lied,” Conway explains. Not only did McCabe lie, he “lied several times to the investigators.”

The scales of justice aren’t balanced anymore

The official who serves as Chief of Staff to Vice President Mike Pence, Marc Short, echoed Conway’s sentiment on CNN Sunday. “The scales of justice aren’t balanced any more,” he argues. “When someone like Roger Stone gets a prosecution that suggests a nine-year jail sentence,” while “someone like Andy McCabe, who also lied to federal investigators, gets a lucrative contract here at CNN.” That just doesn’t seem right. “People say, ‘How is this fair?’ and that’s the source of the president’s frustration.”

Never before in history have we seen such weaponization of the Justice Department. Short calls it unprecedented. “What’s been happening inside the justice department has been unprecedented. When you basically knew the Russian investigation was a hoax but you continue to pursue it, you continue to entrap people – that’s something the American people have not seen before.”

In fact, what Obama’s minions did makes the Watergate burglary look like the third-rate burglary it really was.
