WTH!? ‘Hamilton’ Cast Members CHANGE THE LYRICS to ‘America the Beautiful’ During Superbowl — and the internet EXPLODES!

‘Hamilton’ cast members are in the spotlight again, for giving President Trump some flack!

Check out the subtle pro-woman jab at Donald Trump…

From The Blaze:

During the pregame ceremonies at Super Bowl LI on Sunday, three members of the original cast of the hit Broadway musical “Hamilton” sang “America the Beautiful” — but added a politically correct edit to the song’s lyrics.

Phillipa Soo, Jasmne Cephas Jones and Renee Elise Goldsberry, who played the Schuyler sisters in the musical, added the line “and sisterhood” to the end of a lyric that mentions “brotherhood.”

Listen for yourself here:

The original lyrics of the stanza they altered are:

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

And their edit didn’t go unnoticed. Twitter exploded with tweets and hashtags noting the “sisterhood” addition.
