He Was Attempting To Rape A Woman And HE Was The One That Ended Up Hospitalized…

A harrowing encounter took an unexpected turn when a kidnapped woman fought back against her captor, a registered sex offender, leaving him in need of emergency medical care.

A registered sex offender abducted a woman at knifepoint and took her to his home to assault her. However, he would soon learn that he had chosen the wrong target, as he was rushed to the hospital after his victim fought back.

The story began in Greenville, South Carolina when a woman agreed to meet Dennis Slaton, whom she had connected with online, at a gas station. She thought it was a safe place to get acquainted with him and proceeded to step into his truck. Little did she know, this was part of Slaton’s sinister scheme.

As they drove away, the woman sensed that something wasn’t right. She tried to diffuse the situation by offering Slaton $5 and requesting him to drop her off nearby. However, Slaton revealed his true intentions when he took a detour and pulled out a knife, holding it to her throat.

Slaton, a registered sex offender, had evil plans in mind. He brought the woman to his house, where he forced her inside and assaulted her. But before he could finish, his victim decided to fight back.

According to WSPA, the woman “severed” Slaton’s genitals, allegedly by biting them off, and then managed to seize his knife, using it to stab her attacker, as stated in an incident report from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office. The brave woman escaped while her rapist writhed in agony from his severe injuries.

“He’s done been caught that many times, he don’t need it,” remarked Jeron Lynch, a neighbor who lives near Slaton. “Very concerned…especially when he’s only four houses down.”

Bare and covered in her attacker’s blood, the woman fled to a neighbor’s house and sought help. Although the neighbor didn’t let her in, they quickly informed the police of the emergency situation, as FOX News reported.

The woman, understandably fearful that her assailant might catch up with her, hurried to a Waffle House less than a mile away for help. The police soon arrived at the bloody scene at Slaton’s home, taking him to the emergency room and ensuring the victim’s safety.

Slaton spent over a month in intensive care due to his severe injuries but denies all accusations against him, despite his extensive criminal record, including convictions for sodomy, attempted rape, and voyeurism. Neighbors report that the police have been called to Slaton’s residence at least eight times in the past four years.

“It’s usually like five or ten people, and they always have their guns drawn,” said neighbor Natasha Manuel. “If there’s been people over here with guns drawn the way they have, why has he not still in jail right now?”

Slaton faces charges of kidnapping and criminal sexual assault. A week after his discharge from the hospital and subsequent arrest, he posted a $75,000 bond.

Slaton has not disclosed whether medical professionals were able to repair his genitals fully. However, many believe that this registered sex offender doesn’t deserve them.

If Slaton is still capable of performing in such a way, he will likely think twice about assaulting women in the future. One can only hope that his recent ordeal has taught him not to use his body as a weapon, or else someone may just disarm him again.
