Married Assistant Headteacher Who ‘Romped With Student Six Times’ Facing Jail

A married teacher and assistant principal is facing prison time after having had six encounters with a student in which she had intercourse with the boy and performed oral sex on him. Lisa Rothwell, a married 34-year-old teacher at Stuart Cramer High School, Belmont, North Carolina was arrested last Friday and will be facing a trial for her actions. She is just one in a long line of female teachers who have been caught engaging in sex with underage students. Where were they all at when I was in school? All my teachers ever gave me was pop quizzes and low scores. They said the 2 bad things about me was that I was the worst behaved student in school and to make it worse, I had perfect attendance.

An assistant principal faces jail accused of romping with a student at least six times over a four-month period earlier this year, police say.

Lisa Rothwell, a married 34-year-old teacher at Stuart Cramer High School, Belmont, North Carolina, US, was nicked by cops on Friday for having intercourse and oral sex with a student.

Cops say the sexual encounters took place between April 1 and July 31 2019. It remains unclear if the alleged victim is still a student.

Rothwell, who has worked at the school for a decade, has been booked into Gaston County Jail on six felony counts of sex offence with a student.

During an initial court appearance on Friday a judge set Rothwell’s bond at $1million (£813,600), pointing to the seriousness of the illegal romps, the Gaston Gazette reports.

Investigators probing the case say Rothwell began tutoring the victim last year.
