WHOA: Prosecutors Have Told Alec Baldwin “Don’t Celebrate So Fast”

Despite initial dismissal, charges against a high-profile actor in the tragic on-set shooting of a cinematographer may be refiled, as new facts and the ongoing investigation challenge liberal media’s portrayal of exoneration.

Actor Alec Baldwin seems to have escaped charges for now in the tragic shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie “Rust” in October 2021. Despite the liberal media’s narrative that Baldwin is exonerated, special prosecutors Jason Lewis and Kari Morrissey have clarified that charges may be refiled after further investigation. This should serve as a reminder that Baldwin should not be allowed to walk away scot-free from this devastating incident.

Baldwin’s lawyers, predictably, celebrated the dismissal of the case, urging for “a proper investigation into the facts and circumstances of this tragic incident.” However, the special prosecutors’ statement reveals that new facts have emerged, which demand additional investigation and forensic analysis. This contradicts the liberal media’s attempts to paint Baldwin as a victim.

Variety reported that two factors led to the dismissal: evidence suggesting the gun had been modified in a way that could make it harder to prove Baldwin pulled the trigger – which he denies – and the limited time special prosecutors had to prepare for the May 3 hearing. Appointed in late March, Lewis and Morrissey were under tight time constraints to navigate the convoluted case, which raises questions about whether justice is being served.

Meanwhile, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, the armorer for the movie, continues to face involuntary manslaughter charges. Her lawyers, Jason Bowles and Todd Bullion, expressed confidence in her exoneration, praising the special prosecutors’ “diligent and thorough approach” to the investigation. The fact that Gutierrez Reed still faces charges while Baldwin has temporarily escaped them seems to illustrate a double standard in the pursuit of justice.

Dave Halls, the first assistant director on the set, was charged with negligent handling of a weapon. He pleaded guilty and received a mere six months of unsupervised probation. This light sentence sends a dangerous message about the responsibility of those involved in such a tragedy.

It is crucial to remember that Baldwin still has to face a civil lawsuit from Hutchins’ family, including her father, mother, and sister. The fact that they are suing Baldwin demonstrates that they believe he bears responsibility for their loved one’s untimely death.

The dismissal of charges against Baldwin should not be taken as a victory for the Hollywood elite. The special prosecutors’ statement underscores that this decision does not absolve Baldwin of criminal culpability, and charges may be refiled after the ongoing investigation.

The liberal media’s rush to declare him innocent highlights the need for conservatives to continue fighting for justice and holding those involved in this tragedy accountable.

In a world where high-profile celebrities like Alec Baldwin enjoy an undeserved shield from responsibility, it is essential to advocate for the truth and ensure that justice is served for Halyna Hutchins and her grieving family. The pursuit of accountability should never be swayed by political affiliations or the influence of powerful individuals.

  • Seeing is believing, so I’ll wait to see if he goes to jail. Sure glad my pistol doesn’t fire itself.

    • Hmm , the pistol was modified making it easier to pull the trigger ? If the FBI examined the gun and pronounced it in working order and that it could not be fired without pulling the trigger , how is it that they did not see modified or non original parts ? It is sounding like somebody is doing any and everything to shift blame from Baldwin and blame everyone and anyone else . All of this after the fact and in light of all the reports of the socalled prop guns being used for target practice and live ammunition being on set . I can’t help but think there ismore to this story than the public is being told and one of several things that have been brought out is Baldwin skipping saety meetings and being pre-occupied with phone call and buget cuts . Was firearm safety one ofuts ? And even if it was a dress rehearsal , why was it nesacary to have a loaded fire arm , blank load or otherwise . And with Baldwins arrogance , I wouldn’t let hm near a cap pistol or loaded water pistol .
