Prison Guards Caught Strip Searching A Small Child After She Said She Was….

In a glaring example of unchecked authority and liberal leniency towards illicit behaviors, a child, barely eight years old, finds herself subjected to an unconsented strip-search at a correctional facility, all for the simple wish to see her incarcerated father.

The prison officials, lacking any sense of decency, instructed the child to disrobe for a contraband search – a blatant violation of protocols that demonstrate the absolute disregard for the rights of the young visitor.

The traumatizing incident occurred at Buckingham Correctional Center in Dillwyn, Virginia, where the girl arrived accompanied by her father’s girlfriend, Diamond Peerman. The pair were left astounded and appalled when prison staff demanded the child be stripped naked as part of a procedure that was simply meant to allow her to visit her father.

Upon refusal to comply with the inhumane strip-search, the prison officers threatened the child and her companion with a permanent ban on visits to the state prison, an action that reeked of intimidation and power misuse. They aimed to bully them into submission, despite the absolute lack of any legal or ethical grounds for their demand.

Peerman expressed her profound disgust with the humiliating ordeal inflicted on the innocent girl. She quoted, “I told her, that means you have to take all your clothes off, or you’re not going to be able to see your dad. That’s when she started crying.” In a disgraceful display of an overreach, not only was the child subjected to this intrusion, but Peerman was also unjustly suspected of sneaking contraband into the facility.

Peerman had earnestly questioned a prison captain whether the minor really needed to be searched. In response, the captain insisted on the strip search. Despite clarifying that she wasn’t the girl’s legal guardian and thus couldn’t give consent, she was ruthlessly pressured into signing a consent form for the child’s search, further demonstrating the staff’s utter disregard for the rules.

The Buckingham Correctional Center is now under intense scrutiny for conducting an illegal search on a minor without receiving proper consent from her legal guardian. Attempting damage control, Lisa Kinney, a spokeswoman for the Department of Corrections in Virginia, hastily apologized for the shocking lapse in procedure, stating, “We sincerely apologize to this child and her family and will be taking immediate disciplinary action against the person responsible.”

This young girl, who already suffers from bipolar disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), was victimized by these prison guards, inflicting severe emotional distress that led to her missing school.

The child’s mother stated that the impact of the strip search was so distressing that the girl has discontinued her visits to her father at the facility. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the urgency to reform our correctional institutions and restore decency and respect for individuals’ rights.
