It’s common knowledge that smoking at a gas station is not a good idea and doing so can lead to some very scary repercussions. Turns out, not everyone understands this simple rule.
As the saying goes, “common sense isn’t that common.” Unfortunately for some people, this is too true, leaving them to learn the hard way.
There are many designated places for smokers as one is not supposed to just light up anywhere they want. Still, some people will tend to ignore this and stubbornly puff away whenever they feel like it. Now, it looks like one man has gotten fed up with this kind of attitude and decided that he would take matters into his own hands.
This was the case for a stubborn smoker in Sofia, Bulgaria who decided it was time to light up a cigarette next to a working gas pump. Briefly forgetting that gasoline is flammable. So a gas station attendant taught the smoker a lesson about lighting up next to the pumps.
Surveillance footage has shown the unexpected moment an attendant at a gas pump in Bulgaria’s capital, Sofia, sprayed a smoker with a fire extinguisher.
It was reported that the worker had asked the guy many times, but he refuses to stop smoking so the worker at the gas station decides to take matters into his own hands. Smoking at a gas station is just a bad idea. Fortunately, this punk learned his lesson in a harmless – although intense – way.
By getting a face-full of fire extinguisher solution, he learned that you really should not smoke a cigarette at a gas station unless you’re willing to get blasted like this.
If the man wasn’t annoyed enough that he was covered in foam, his car door also happened to be open at the time of the blast. Passengers were shown jumping out of the car after the foam had made its way in.
Fortunately for everyone involved, nothing horrible happened unlike what played out in “Zoolander.”

The smoker most likely learned NOTHING. Sadly for most it takes a very NASTY burn before they stop being STUPID. This applies to those who get in and out of their cars while fueling them. Static builds up and can set gas ablaze. There are many who fuel you and for get to put the hose back when they get back in while fueling up. This leads to other problems as well.
