Country singer Jason Aldean was now back on the stage after a very long layoff due to Covid lockdown. The Popular country singer was thrilled to face again his fans after months of not performing for them.

During his concert last week, Aldean didn’t hold himself and made the crowd fired up and said that he might play all night.

And what made the event more intense was he made the crowd chant ‘USA, USA,’ when he pointed out the complete absence of masks in the crowded room.

“I gotta be honest, my favorite thing about coming back, it’s been 17 months since me and the guys were on tour last, alright?

This is our first weekend back and who knows what’s going to happen next week so, shit we might play all night tonight, I don’t know ’cause I don’t if they’re going to let us play next week.

But, you know the coolest thing about all this, the coolest thing to me right now… is that I’m looking out, seeing all you guys, and I don’t see one f–king mask. I’ve had just about enough of that s–t. ”

The video below shows the last part of his exchange with the crowd, and how people patriotically responded.

With the outbreak of the Delta variant continuing, live events like concerts are putting new restrictions in place. Two of the largest event promoters, LiveNation and AEG, have mandated that ticket holders either be vaccinated or provide proof of a negative test to enter.
The venues are already essentially requiring a vaccine passport to get in, it’s only a matter of time that these types of gatherings are canceled altogether.

Aldean is not the only prominent musician to speak out in a similar way against authoritarianism. Just last month, Eric Clapton said that he would not be playing at any venues that require fans to get vaccinated. His announcement came after he had an adverse reaction to the vaccine that caused numbness in his hands and left him worried he “might never play again.”

In a Q&A with fans on social media, Aldean’s wife Brittany spoke about her and the singer having the courage to stand up and express their political views, saying I ‘don’t give a damn.’

“I personally don’t give a damn if people don’t agree with me. I think it’s important now more than ever to stand for what you believe, even if it ‘goes against the grain.’ Do your research, and form your own opinion – speak out if you wish. But most importantly, don’t bully people who feel differently than you.”

Seeing entertainers like Aldean coming out against these anti-scientific mandates gives hope that we can all reclaim our freedoms before it’s too late.
