She Saw A Peeping Tom Outside Her Child’s Window, And She Took Matters Into Her Own Hands…

Don’t mess with Texas mom.

A Texas mom is going viral after her mama bear instincts were caught on camera.

Phyllis Pena was pulling into her driveway early on January 31, when she spotted a suspected peeping tom peeking through the windows outside of her 15-year-old daughter’s room. The suspect saw Pena and fled just as she was calling the police, who arrived on the scene shortly thereafter.

Fortunately, a police dashcam captured the whole thing on film!

“My kids are my life and just making sure I protect them,” she said.

So, when she returned from the store to see a young man lurking outside her 15-year-old daughter’s bedroom, she jumped into action.

Thankfully, the woman’s daughter wasn’t in the room at the time the 19-year-old peeper lurked outside. Phyllis immediately called the police but the suspect took off as they arrived. But there was no way the fiercely protective mom was going to let him get away!

As you can see in a police dashcam video from the Lake Jackson, Texas Police Department, there was open daylight for 19-year-old Zane Hawkins, who thought he was about to get away before — OUT OF NOWHERE — Phyllis blindsided the piece of garbage right into the pavement.

“First instinct was just to make sure he didn’t go any further,” Phyllis said.

In an incredible act of bravery, the mom tackles the suspect who was fleeing from the police. Her 15-year-old daughter cheered her on and helped the hero mom hold the suspect down until the officers took over.

Her tackle was so professional she attracted the notice of a football recruiter and coach.

“Okay, I’m a football recruiter and technique coach, and I’m definitely recruiting her to teach my recruits how to properly “Two Step” tackle. She wrapped up her opponent and used her body to take him down. And she used her “Hammer Arm” to stop her opponent/pervert, so he wasn’t even a threat to him. Good job, mom. I’m glad everything is going well, and as a father of a teenage girl, I will bow to you.”

The good news here is that Zane was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest, and resisting arrest, and there could be more charges to follow.

Mama bear has spoken, and let’s just say you’re not going to see a better tackle this week. Show some appreciation, Texans. Change the narrative around your organization. Bring her into the practice facility and let Phyllis hit some tackling dummies. Let’s spin this into a positive.

“My next step is to try out for the NFL ,” Phyllis wrote on Facebook.
