San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was not well received on or off the field Sunday in Orchard Park, New York.

The $126 million player continues his ill-informed “protest” of racial oppression in America by refusing to stand during the national anthem and the fans of the home team Buffalo Bills make it clear from the jump that they do not appreciate his disrespect, booing him mercilessly as he took the field.

But the razzing didn’t stop there, with Bills fans loudly chanting “USA, USA” as Kaepernick knelt during the national anthem, according to ESPN.

The player also found himself being shown up during his “protest” by a law enforcement officer standing behind him, who saluted as “The Star Spangled Banner” played:

Starting in his first game of the year, the Kaepernick-led 49ers fared no better on the field of play, getting blown out 45-16.

And to complete the day, the player was thoroughly booed as he departed New Era Field.

T-shirts were being sold outside the stadium that made a strong statement about Kaepernick’s “protest.”

There was alarm from some who support the player because the image of Kaepernick had a rifle sight on it, along with the text: “Wanted” and “Notorious Disgrace to America.”
